Hack your future!

From great powers comes great responsibilities.

Codemotion is a tech conference. More, Codemotion is the wider tech Conference in EMEA, with 9 local branches from Spain to Arab Emirates.
Peter Singer said that in this new world that we live in, we often have a responsibility, you know, to actually go beyond the thou shalt nots – that is, the not harming others – and say we can help others and we should be helping others, well we agree.

We are deeply moved by Refugees Crisis and when we met HackYourFuture, we felt that it was a not to wast opportunity to make some former developers’ day.

What is HackYourFuture?

Hackyourfuture is a coding school for refugees which teach refugees web-development in a 6-month program.
They teach their students front- and backend development for the web, making them full-stack developers as they finish the course.
Hackyourfuture ask help to a group of experienced developers who closely support students in their process, also, besides coding they provide training in project-management, help students becoming independent coders and teach them about the working culture in Dutch companies.

Codemotion and Hackyourfuture.

Some of the Refugees under Hackyourfuture program worked as skilled developers in Syria, and suddenly their life changed. So we are proud to help them by allowing a certain number of complimentary tickets to access to Codemotion Conference in Amsterdam.

We are proud to help skilled developers facing hard times: it is a matter of responsibility.
